This song is in tribute to the authentic faith of the American slave--or, Negro Spirituals. The Old Ship of Zion goes way back to the early 1800s and has a few different versions. I sped it up as well as adding the chorus and last verse. Their faith is inspiring and embedded into the very fabric of our country.
