Story Behind The Song

Inspired by hard-hitting grunge bands like Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgarden, "Magnitude" was an effort to re-capture that energy and attitude through catchy guitar riffs and a pounding rhythm section. As with most of Matthew C. Bauder's songs it all started with the simple guitar riff that fuels the verses and grew from there. Lyrics were later added and the full vocal version became the title track on Alien Mustache's(Matthew C. Bauder's sometimes used alias)third self-released album, which was remastered and re-released in 2020.
