Story Behind The Song
In competition with 48 000 entries "She's Called Grace" reached 2nd place in 2019 USA Songwriting Competitions pop category, only beaten by the overall winner and received an Honorable Mention Award from the jury.
The song was written after a long conversation with a friend about grace. When I change the song title from "It's Called Grace" to "She's Called Grace" the lyrics pretty much wrote itself.
Song Description
After the beginning with just a falsetto and a piano ostinato, the song grows to an energetic and ending where elements from the verse is building the chorus to a higher level.
She's Called Grace is an optimistic and happy song about forgiveness and is explaining the concept of grace from a different and poetic angle.
