Honey From The Rock - Reflective Americana Folk

Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song with Mike while living in MA. Mike gave me a rough draft of some lyrics, and I was drawn to the idea where he was going lyrically...of letting go. Having had a lot of hard times in my life, I know the feeling. It is about asking for help, and the awareness of being in that space. I added lyrics and came up with the melody. The song was then recorded in Austin and included on my album Boston To Austin.

Song Description

This song is about being tired, going through a lot, breaking down to the point of surrender for that is the only thing left to do.
