Story Behind The Song
Our choir director said one day "if anyone knows any songs about how music brings peace to the world, let me know." I thought "Duh why don't I write one - how come I hadn't thought of that yet?!". As I was pondering the song, I found "nature" getting in the middle of "peace" and "music". I was planning on singing at a small "campground contest" for a folk festival, so I wrote it in a somewhat folk-style. I am blessed to have an excellent guitar teacher with 50 years of "commercial country" experience, so he did his magic and added his talented touches to the arranging and recording.
