Good idea and great music.
I love a good train song! This one combines excellent storytelling with a memorable hook/chorus and fresh ideas and rhymes. Couple that with expert instrumentation, terrific mix and production, and you have a winner song! I absolutely loved hearing your talented fiddler go at it and the guitars and bass were great too. Nothing was out of place in the mix...it was just right. Nice internal rhyme with Grizzly Ridge. Like the little "uphill" comment. Great word pictures...loved the meadow, raise a family....terrific images to enhance your song!
Solid current sounding country number that has a little Nitty Gritty Dirt Band feel to it. Well played and sung and recorded.
