Now here's a REAL cowboy song, through and through. Great story, kind of heart-breaking really. The story is interesting, original and well-rhymed. The chorus is very catchy and singable. The word pictures are abundant. You can almost picture the bar where $10 can go far. Southern Sonora - great alliteration. Terrific instrumentation. Love the mandolin and guitar. Vocal is crystal clear and understandable. This artist is a GREAT storyteller and songwriter.
