Excellent R&B song, almost could be pop but either way well produced. I really like the mix of the instrumentation that highlight the different sections. Very smooth very cool.
I like the idea for the background brass section
Clever lyrics with electronic groove with strumming acoustic guitars, cool sax player. Definitely give this track 100 stars in originality.
Alliteration in the title is always a hook, I think. And to have it in the chorus is good. The theme of the lyric is unique and interesting. Who hasn't gotten a call selling windows or vacations? Haha you should put one in about expiration of car warranty! The saxophones just make this song! The sax instrumental parts elicit visions of film noir scenes of shadowy figures in the night. Cigarette smoking detectives in fedoras on clandestine meetings. The sax trills at the end are great. I wish the bass was a little more "bassy". But it does drive the song very well. The singer's voice is unique sounding.
Very cool and original piece. Cool lyrics and ideal instrumentation.
Awesome song!! I feel like telling people this sometimes, myself. Loved the original idea of the message and the instrumentation you decided to use.
Great feel. You should do well with this because not many people have this quality in this genre
I totally dig this song...one of the best funny blues songs I have heard on BJ...or maybe at all. I love the original humorous lyrics and the performance is fun and real and right on target. The horns are totally cool. Your verses are soooo well written; comical and fresh and oh so real. screens/vacation dreams - great rhyme. Talkin' blues at end is a great way to finish it off. I love love love those crystal clear, easily understandable vocals. I hope I get to hear more of your creativity soon!
catchy tune! I especially like the horn section just slightly in the background. nice touch! I think this would work in so different situations like, film or tv.
