Paparazzi
Words & Music by Marg, Art, Alton & S. Corey/BMI Copyright 1980 (c)

Ooooooooooooooo, Ooooooooooooo..........
Flash in the night......

1st Verse
When I was young, thought I'd be a big star
I was wrong, didn't get that far
Got me a camera learned to shoot real good
Hangin' out in Hollywood
Can you guess who I am? Can you guess who I am??

2nd Verse
Hey lady don't you hide your face
I'm on your trail, it's stars that I chase
Won't you turn around and play my game
Cut me out a little piece of fame............

Lift
I've shot hundreds just like you
You need me more than you think you do!

Chorus
I'm the PAPARAZZI....................
Yes, I'm the PAPARAZZI....................

3rd Verse
I'll be there when you think you're alone
I'll be there, to shoot your headstone
You're the flame, I am the moth
You'll never shake me off!

Lift
Beautiful faces shine in my lens
Beautiful pleasures, beautiful sins........

Chorus
Bridge
All I wanted to do is be so close and imitate you...........
All I wanted to hear is step aside and let him near........
Ending...........
My work day is never done.......
A flash in the night, a snap in the sun..........
Some of my shots are for fun, but most of my shots are on the run..........
Ooooooooooo ..............
Do you know who I am? Do you know who I am?

Good main hook, good running bass, fair airtime for vocals and instruments.

Loved it! Had a real 80's feel to it that I loved. The guitar work really brings me in as you can hear several dynamic changes that keep you on your toes. Vocalist has a very solid and unique sound that leaves me wanting more. Great arrangement overall.

If you like 80s grooves and guitar tones brought forward into the 21st century, then this will appeal to any listener looking to nostalgic tones from that era. The recording is well done as are the guitar and drum tones throughout. The song has a good hook utilizing it's mysterious reference to a paparazzi photographer. The mood is generally dark, but again, it seems to fit the quality of the piece.

i like the chord/vibe movement. keep at it! take chances! great melodic prowess. collaboration always helps to push this brand of music to a previously unexplored arena. all in all i would say youre on the right track!

Very cool take and very original idea. Very good and witty lyrics. Really good job instrumentally as well. Nice riff. Nice hook. Start to finish, just a very cool, witty, entertaining piece.

enjoyable tune. good production balance. just enjoyable.
good instrumentation.

good overall production. The song has good beat, I like the guitar work, good licks and good "feeling" to play. Vooice is ok for this song,

The hook surely remains in mind. It's well done.
