Lyrics
Settle Down

My baby used to stay out all night long
Used to hoot and howl till the break of dawn
He would come home in the morning, broad daylight
All wound up, just looking for a fight
I never thought
That man would settle down.
And then a-one time, a-two time, a-three time, four
Oh my baby came a knocking at my door
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
I opened it up and I let him in
Since that day my baby sure has settle down
And I said, ?Oh, just look what I?ve done.?
I said, ?Oh, oh, just look what I?ve done
I got him lying on my sofa watching I Love Lucy reruns.
My baby had a roving, roving eye
Like a rolling stone just a-rolling by
Oh, my baby went out rocking every night
His bed was knocking all of the time
I never thought that man would settle down
And then a-one time, a-two time, a-three time, four
Oh my baby came a knocking at my door
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
I opened it up and I let him in
Since that day my baby sure has settle down
And I said, ?Oh, just look what I?ve done.?
I said, ?Oh, oh, just look what I?ve done
I got him lying on my sofa watching I Love Lucy reruns.
