Story Behind The Song
This song was written for my mom, who was suffering through a difficult personal crisis - one only she could fix. I wanted to do something to help and so sat quietly and composed. It's one of my favorites.

After The Storm Comes A Rainbow Words & Music
by
Linda Edlund
So many days go by leaving emptiness behind you
Can't hold on to peace of mind.
So many ways to try having happiness beside you
Look around and you will find...
That after the storm comes a rainbow
Through the clouds the sun will shine.
And though the feeling's gone for now
When it returns you'll know
All good things will come in time.
Just when it should be clearing, it begins to rain - again you cry
Seems the world is falling in.
I wish you could be free from that bed of pain on which you lie
Please get the strength you'll need to win.
'Cause after the storm comes a rainbow
Through the clouds the sun will shine.
And though the feeling's gone for now
When it returns you'll know
All good things will come in time.
And though the feeling's gone for now
When it returns you'll know
All good things will come in time.
All good things will come in time.
