Story Behind The Song

As a child of the 80's and 90's, divorce was very prevelant among my peers. I decided to write a song from the point of view of a child very effected by the experience.

It's about someone living in the moment of when her father left her family. Everyone else (her brothers, mother, etc.) seem to have moved on, but she is left wondering how it all happened... how could he have abandoned them that way? But mostly importantl

how the man had been a phony... for all these years!
