Lyrics

This Girls Truck

Well, I?m under the hood on the side of the road
Grease underneath my nails
Motor oil stain on the leg of my jeans
As my water-proof eye-liner fails.
(You) Come strolling up in your cargo pants
And your Ralph Lauren horsey guy shirt
Then, stand there staring, hands in your pockets
Like you might be allergic to dirt.

You say ?Hey, Doll? need any help?
Like there might be a way you can
I guess you?re thinking you have special skills
Just because you?re a man.
Well, I re-built this truck from the tires up
And I doubt there?s a thing you can do.
If you?re thinking of offering anything else
I?ve got news for you.

My first toy was a ratchet wrench
I cut my teeth on a Bumper guard
My Daddy spent the weekends racing the car
We built in the shed in our back yard
If you think you can get my motor to run
Step up and try your luck
But if romance is what you have in mind
You ain?t man enough to drive this girls truck.

I can see you?re one of those guys
Like I?ve known all of my life
All you think a woman is for
Is a secretary or a wife
Well, if you?d stop staring at the back of my jeans
And start looking into my eyes
You might find that there?s more to a girl
Than you ever realized.

Well, That?s got it! All Fixed.
Time for me to fly.
So, slide back over to your little Beamer
It was sure nice of you try.
I don?t need to be rescued
Sorry to spoil your plan
And , if I see you stranded on the side of the road
Maybe I?ll give you a hand

My first toy was a ratchet wrench
I cut my teeth on a Bumper guard
My Daddy spent the weekends racing the car
We built in the shed in our back yard
If you think you can get my motor to run
Step up and try your luck
But if romance is what you have in mind
You ain?t man enough to drive this girls truck.

But, if romance is what you have in mind.
Yeah, Yeah!
You ain?t man enough to drive this girls truck.
To drive this girls truck.
Not this girl?s truck!

Nuh uh!
