Lyrics

I just can't cry any more
Got nothing left to give
It's not worth fighting for
The way we had to live

You packed up your things
With nothing more to say
Someday you'll look back at me
But I'll have turned away

Chorus
It's finally good-bye
It doesn't hurt me anymore
It's finally good-bye
Hope you find what you're looking for
There's nothing left for you and I
It's finally good-bye

What was on your mind
It still remains a mystery
You wanted more than I could give
And you had all there was of me

I've been waiting oh so long
Watching you slip away
But now the pain is over
It ended here today

Chorus
It's finally good-bye
It doesn't hurt me anymore
It's finally good-bye
Hope you find what you're looking for
There's nothing left for you and I
It's finally good-bye

Bridge
You made it awful easy
Leaving me so fast
Our lives became a mockery
I knew it couldn't last

It's finally good-bye
It doesn't hurt me anymore
It's finally good-bye

There's nothing left for you and I
It's finally good-bye

emotive male vocal, w a john lennon vibe, nice guitar, "it's finally goodby," neat chorus. artful lyrics, in general...

Wonderfully arranged song with great vocals and lyrics. Almost sounds as if it could be a lost Beatles song- its that good ! Well done ! I could imagine this playing during a film credit roll.

Clever lyrics that really made the theme work as a story. Liked the scale of the sound, beginning in the intro with the big guitar sheets of sound and especially near the end where the vocal and instrumentation had an epic feel. Also liked the vocal harmony in some sections like 1:05.

good vibe to this, very good ideas, vocal adequate, good song structure. you know what you're doing...like the why you've got the hook/title in there allot--too many songs i've reviewed today DIDN'T! :)
