He?s a picture on the wall, that I?ll love forever more
We planned a home and family, when he got back from the war
I would write him ever day, and he would answer when he could
When I ask him how he was, (talk) he?d just say I?m doing good

Some how I seem to know that he was holding up for me
He didn?t want me to worry about things I couldn?t see
I think he was telling me he might not be coming back
I think he somehow knew his destination was in iraq
