Story Behind The Song
I was approached by a producer/ writer who wrote a song for a musical. They used an instrumental version for the show and asked me to record the vocal version to be played during the curtain call..I was excited it was used and put on the musical's CD,,;)
Song Description
A girl sees her long lost love at a dance. She is not happy with her present date,especially after seeing her prior boyfriend.." her heart went to her throat"...and askes him to dance with her..considering his date had left as well as hers ;)...picture a setting perhaps in the 1940's/50's...a sweet instrumental break sets the tone for the anticipated "dance"....
