Story Behind The Song
Last Christmas morning I went out to my truck and found the gas to be near empty. And I thought "did I leave it this way or did perhaps Santa syphon it off to fuel his tank" Then it occurred to me that no one has ever added up all the stuff missing on Christmas morn.

Lyrics
Santa's Home
lyrics: Melvin Johnny Harvill Oct 09 2009
Intro B F# G E B F# G E^
B Kris Kringles's biggest secret
F# Is not his Magic Sack
G Here 's a Pirate 's tally
E Of booty he hauls back
B For any thing times a billion
F# Even a mug of cheer
G Would weight a million pounds
E And disappear every year
B Think about the sugar cookies
F# That vanish in thin air
G And all the Frosted cake
E That in the morning is not there
B Enough to sink a battle Ship
F# If a Voyage it would make
G But could easily float in all the milk
E The big Elf always takes E^
Chorus
B Santa 's home F# Santa 's Home
E How does Santa D heat his home
B Santa ' s home F# at the cold North Pole,
G How do we find B Santa 's home E-B-E
F# This is not a story ,G of the trinkets (trifles) he may bring
A This is about the booty ,B he trucks back with him
F# Perhaps to fuel the secret ,
Gthat heats the northern land
A The answer to our power woes
B May be in Saint Nick's hands
B Cookies ,cake and mmm fresh milk
F# And don 't forget the cheese
G Or all the gallons of Eggnog
E He would seem to down with ease
B Cold beer ,wine ,hard alcohol
F# Supplied in many proofs
G With this pillage and other loot
E He totes back on your roof
B Does this treasure in great measure
F# Contribute to more than lusts
G Or could the drink and sugar hordes
E Be what enables his great thrust
B That shoots his sled across the sky
F# At such a dizzy pace
G He must be hiding a power source
E Up in that frozen place E^
Chorus B F# E D B F# G B E-B-E F# G A B F# G A B
B And let 's not forget his factory
F# That fills those Christmas list
G Or any of the Zillion Elves
E Of which any would be missed
B That warmly sleep at night
F# In their comfy little racks
G And each year provides the magic
E The big elf puts into his sack
B Maybe we shouldn't dwell on Santa
F# At this magical time of year
G As he cleverly trades for fuel
E To power up his gear
B But keep the season Holy
F# And truly much revered
G As we celebrate this special night
E That Jesus first appeared E^
