Story Behind The Song
This was the theme song for our gospel quartet. Our bass singer had cancer, and his verse was the one "when you're on your back and you can't get up...".
He played it every time he went in for chemo treatments so that everyone in the ward could hear it. Needless to say we lost him to cancer less than a year of singing together. This song is dedicated to those who need hope. In hope, against all hope, I still believe!
Song Description
Courage when all is falling down around us...upbeat foot stomping easy to sing and play. Builds layer by layer to a resounding crescendo! You have to play it over and over...

Lyrics
With a touch of hope, a little bit of faith
A whole lotta love and the grace of God,
You can go anywhere, do anything, be anyone you want
Verse
When the news you get, ain't the news you want,
when they say they will, but then they don't
You can't give up, you just love on,
Waitin' on the Lord to take you home.
Chorus
With a touch of hope, a little bit of faith
A whole lotta love and the grace of God,
You can go anywhere, do anything,
Be anyone you want.
Verse
When the leaves of life are fallin' fast,
and the winds of time are blowin'
You don't give up, you just go on,
prayin for the Lord to get you home.
Repeat Chorus
Verse
When you're on your back and you can't get up,
thinkin' right now you've had enough...
Count your blessin's and say your prayers,
shout out loud to the Lord up there!
