Story Behind The Song

I know of a woman who has gone through similar circumstance as a child, and wrote the song about her situation.

Song Description

When she was a little girl her mom was killed in an accident. The dad couldn't get past the pain of loosing his wife. The daughter reminded him of that loss so he distanced himself from her, not giving her the love and attention she craved from him. She poses the question, " Daddy Could you spare a little time "
