Story Behind The Song
For those of you who are sci-fi/fantasy fans, you might recognize some of the references. "Rumney" is a reference to a town in John Christopher's "The White Mountains," and the "Black Woods" and, of course, "The Warlock Lord" came from Terry Brooks' "The Sword Of Shannara."
"Overland" was derived from Overland Park, Kansas. I have no idea why I included it, except I thought it sounded like a neat name for a country in a fantasy novel.

Lyrics
THE WARLOCK LORD
Words and music by Ray Kim
1: On the long road to Rumney where the Black Woods meet the sea,
I met the King of Overland, who gave this advice to me...
"A grave danger lies ahead, trouble you cannot forsee...
Beware the Warlock Lord, my son, wherever you may be..."
Chorus: The battle lines are drawn, the match is joined...
Clear and present danger you cannot avoid...
Cast your fear aside, and prepare to fight,
For the Warlock Lord awaits you in his lair tonight...!
2: "Keep your wits about you when you meet the Warlock Lord...
Let experience be your armor; let your mind be your sword...
Keep your head held up high as you prepare yourself to defend,
For you will face a battle, one which will never end..."
Chorus: The battle lines are drawn, the match is joined...
Clear and present danger you cannot avoid...
Cast your fear aside, and prepare to fight,
For the Warlock Lord awaits you in his lair tonight...!
Bridge: He anticipates your arrival...
He prepares himself to receive...
And the key to your survival
Is to stand up and fight for what you believe...
(Instrumental ad lib)
Chorus: The battle lines are drawn, the match is joined...
Clear and present danger you cannot avoid...
Cast your fear aside, and prepare to fight,
For the Warlock Lord awaits you in his lair tonight...!
