Lyrics
The King's Legacy _Pop/Rock/R&B/Alternative
(Verse 1)
Such a horrible night to be stranded in the desert
Not a soul in sight as the sand storm tears through my shirt
My blood and sweat is all I have to eat
(Verse 2)
Can't remember how I ended up here in the first place
Or who left these cuts etched so deeply into my face
There's something not quite right bout this whole scene
(Bridge 1)
Then out of the blue, a figure comes closer
Tells me it's almost over, listen up you've got one chance
You will soon be honored by someone you respect
If you carry on and sacrifice the ants
(Chorus)
The lights too bright, I lost my sight, for a moment
It's back and all I can think of is the cogent
Message that was left for me, to ensure that my legacy
Lives on
(Bridge 2)
But was anything real? Or was it just a dream?
Guess I'll wait and see
(Verse 3)
Another day goes by like any other one I've been through
The peasants moan and cry about the short straw that they drew
While all my walls are covered in gold
(Verse 4)
Take a stroll to town, with my cavalry of splendor
Passing wretched men that don't deserve to breathe my same air
They cower as my red carpet unfolds
(Bridge 3)
Then out of the blue, a figure comes closer
Tells me it's almost over, listen up I had my chance
You will soon be honored by someone you respect
Cuz you carried on and sacrificed the ants
(Chorus)
The lights too bright, I lost my sight, for a moment
It's back and all I can think of is the cogent
Message that was left for me, to ensure that my legacy
Lives on
[Solo]
(Verse 5)
Such a beautiful night, to be walking by the ocean
Not a soul in sight, besides my dearest old friend
But I can't place the sadness in his eyes
(Verse 6)
He says here I spread these ashes to honor you my king
I hope that you find peace in your next life
