Lyrics

The drab drops pearl
And sweep and swirl
Out on her windowpane.
Fleeting sleeting
Cold airs meeting
Ease out and freeze out the rain
As the lathering haze
Turns to gathering greys
In the gaze of her weather eye
A dull cloud goes east
And her day goes west
By and by.

She's got the blues
For the blue of the sky in the South.
She's got the blues
For the white of the wine in her mouth.
Orange green, orange red
Got the blues
Andaluz.

She sees the grove
Near the far distant cove
And the house with the half-open door
Fleeting greeting
Bold stares meeting
Feet on a cooling stone floor
And the dazzling day
Kept at sea and at bay
By the dark frond that fingered the sun
And the tendrils that tenderly
Crawled and curled
On and on.

She's got the blues
For the blue of the tiles in the hall.
She's got the blues
For the white of the wash on the wall.
Olive green, olive black
Got the blues
Andaluz.

She's got the blues
For the blue of the sky in the South.
She's got the blues
For the white of the wine in her mouth.
Orange green, orange red
Got the blues
Andaluz.

Thoughtful tune with acoutic guitars

Very good traditional folk style.

This is a tasteful, folky song with delightful acoustic guitar work.

good song, great performance

I thought I was going to review a blues song, but was treated to an awesome folk song.
Tremendous guitar work; the acoustic accompaniment finger picking as-wall-as the very tasteful acoustic lead. Very strong vocals. Interesting mix of an "old English" thematic sound with a more contemporary lyrical idea.

Nice touch on the acoustic. Interesting progression, nicely done.

Interesting and evocative lyrics in a traditional English folk style. Nice melodic guitar playing and charismatic vocals, somewhat reminiscent of acoustic Jethro Tull.

I like the classical guitar, really has a good sound.

Excellent guitar work and supporting accompaniment. Vocals are well presented and articulated.

Love the guitar and the vocals remind me of cash
