Story Behind The Song
I'll admit it. I've always had a soft spot for ethereal songs that have the ability to transport you to another place and time. That mist covered world somewhere between Enya and Dido. I borrowed the story line concept from fellow broadjammer Lisa Torch's excellent song Lightning Strikes, and even added a little Otis Redding imagery to try to create a sense of rhythm and continuity.

Lyrics
November rains stir me into shape again
I leave my light on. Soon you're coming home to mend
You'll hear my songs and you'll tell me how you longed to be with me
And we'll melt into each other once again
(Chorus)
In so deep I can hardly breathe, it's like water
You and me adrift in the big blue sea
I keep seeing my dreams float away like water
And like water, they keep coming back to me
Half of you is better than life without you
Part of me is something I just can't do
We sleep in splendor to the silent beat of winter
Then the thunder rolls and springtime calls for you
(Chorus)
In so deep I can hardly breathe, it's like water
You and me adrift in the big blue sea
I keep seeing my dreams float away like water
And like water, they keep coming back to me
Like water ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Like water, my dreams keep coming back to me
Like water, they keep coming back to me
