Story Behind The Song
Just after the road rally, I was out to dinner with Brian Allan, Laura Becker and her partner Martin and some others celebrating the launch of Swiss Boy records. During the course of the evening Martin mentioned the that he had a phrase for a song 'sittinig alone at a table for two'. It was a very easy phrase to remember and this is the result!

Lyrics
Sitting alone at a table for two
Sitting alone don't know what to do
Watching the world pass by my door
Thinking that you don't love me no more
Sitting alone at a table for two
Watching the sun go down
Walking around the streets late at night
Looking for someone to turn on the light
Shining a torch in the back of my mind
Watching the shoreline swallow the tide
I'm sitting alone at a table for two
Watching the sun go down
And you know I will be waitng here
The table's set the coast is clear
You know I will be watching as
the sun sinks in the sea
I'm dreaming about a cafe at night
The world was a wonder the timing just right
We danced 'round the table and talked until two
Then I walked you home by the silvery moon
Now I'm sitting alone at a table for two
Watching the sun go down
I'm wondering where all the days have gone now
As I try and remember if there was a sign
Maybe you'll come by this way again
Maybe you'll knock on my door as a friend
I'm sitting alone at a table for two
Watching the sun go down
And you know...
