Lyrics

I was five and he was six
We road on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight

Bang bang you shot me down
Bang bang I hit the ground
Bang bang that awful sound
Bang bang my baby shot me down

Seasons came and changed the time
I grew up I called him mine
He would always laugh and say
Remember when we use to play

Bang bang I shot you down
Bang bang you hit the ground
Bang bang that awful sound
Bang bang I use to shoot you down

Music played and people sang
Just for me the church bells rang

Now he's gone I don't know why
Till this day some times I cry
didn't even say good bye
didn't take the time to lie

Bang bang he shot me down
Bang bang I hit the ground
Bang bang that awful down
My baby shot me down

An interesting/cool cover of the Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang". The bigger production and this particular lead vocalist lend this version to use in film/video or perhaps a stage production. Good rendition and well executed (no pun intended).

I know this song but I have not heard in a long time until now. Very good performance.

It's a classic so a lot of the work is done. I like the hook a lot of course. It's a great song for TV. The bed of the track is a good place to start. It has a spooky vibe that is very appealing.

The instrumentation is very pretty and the vocal tone is good

The song choice is an excellent one to cover. Quite a different vibe than the hit.

Great cover of this classic song. Love the way its been slowed down to create a powerful re-creation of the original.

Here's a spookily beautiful rendition of the old Sonny and Cher hit, "Bang Bang." Who woulda thunk? With a brilliant musical intro opening up the sonic wonders, the vocalist tells the story well in this unique cover song. Production values are high and her voice is beautiful. Nice job!

This song was very interesting... it was just off the beaten path to keep my attention... it reminded my of a song that would be used on a western

+ unique and inspirational piece that brought me right in
+ could be performed in many genres at many tempos
+ simple powerful lyric well performed by vocalist
+ drum beats are well-done and add to haunting quality
+ backing vocals have nice full-choir sound
+ keep writing - this is nice!

Great orchestration. Can hear this in a musical.

It's a nice cover, like the tempo, and also good singing

Fine-tunded cover of the old Cher hit. You build a nice ambience and atmosphere here. Well arranged with those additional vocals coming in. Warm voice containing emotion. Overall a fine work of craft.
