Story Behind The Song

I was interested in creating a soundscape composition which included both synthsized and acoustic sounds, both natural and urban soundscapes, and which encompassed heterogenous approaches to musical performance and recording while maintaining a sort of lyrical equilibrium.

Song Description

The song is constructed around the concept of birth, and the embryonic dream-state. Hearing the voice of the mother,both far and close, the embryo finds him/herself in a pre-life state of expectation, in which possible worlds and whispers from the outer world intersect his primordial and innermost pulsions and potential humanity.
