Story Behind The Song
Inspired by an "encounter" i had with a snail while walking my dog, and the subsequent discovery of the poem by Gunn.
Song Description
Like a snail wrapped into its spiral shell, this track aims to embody the concept of the poem. The curiosity and wonder which arises from contemplating a snail, moving alone through the night, and carrying out "his" short life. The feelings are wonder and curiosity, but at the same time awe, for how can such a small insignificant thing as a snail be drenched in so much destiny and purpose? the sounds in the track aim to represent these feelings, and carry the listener slowly into an unexpected but inevitable spiralling destiny.
