Story Behind The Song

Based on a true experience, I wrote this song about trying to justify leaving a relationship because I thought I was "bad" for the other person and that they deserved better. The lyrical content can also be interpreted in other ways such as female empowerment.

Song Description

BAD is pop track with a slightly dark undertone that has a confident and powerful vibe in the vocal performance and music. It could be interpreted as a female empowerment song even though it's about a relationship post-breakup. It starts off a bit mellow but hits harder with a great beat when the second verse starts. Though the literal subject matter is about a relationship post-breakup, the vocals and music convey confidence and power, and certain sections of the song can be used for a variety of content, for example, female empowerment, confidence, sensuality, etc.
