Story Behind The Song
This is a song I wrote about a girl who has always been a great friend. We toyed with they idea of dating, but the thought was short-lived and she wasn't interested in pursuing a relationship, though i was. This song goes through my feelings when I was finally starting to cope with the fact that it was never gonna happen.
Song Description
Sometimes friendships blossom into romance ... other times, one half of a friendship wants it to blossom into a romnace while the other half is completely unaware.

Lyrics
Over Whispering Water
I try and I try to convince myself
That I don?t want to know what I know that I already know
And I try and I try to convince myself
That I don?t want to go where I know that I?ve already gone
But I see the way that she smiles at me
And I see how beautiful she can be
And I hear the words when she speaks to me
Like the wind ? like the wind over whispering water
I try and I try to convince myself
That she needs me though I see that she can?t seem to see me
And I try and I try to convince myself
That I don?t need her though I?m sure that I can?t live without her
But I see the way that she smiles at me
And I see how beautiful she can be
And I hear the words when she speaks to me
Like the wind ? like the wind over whispering water
I?ve tried and I tried to convince myself
That I don?t want to know what I know that I already know
