Bob Dillon comes to mind right off, both the beat and the voice. This voice is better than Dillon's, the arrangement is very good, and the music is spot on. I am not so fond of the steady beat of this kind of folk song, but I guess it is necessary. In its genre I think this is a very good song. The harmonizing is really great.
really well played all instruments, good beat/pace, liked the mix ideas here, vocal moving around and panned well. fun spritely sound, well done all around.
Really enjoyed this. Some kind of 70s vibe I hope thats what you were looking for. Rod Stewart comes to mind (vocal and mandolin).
Very skillful acoustic guitar intro and playing throughout, the lead voice seems a mix between Bob Dylan and Axl Rose, as a folk song is quite uptempo and fresh. The recording is very good too.
Besides the awesome licks that got me from the first run through, or the first lines of the song that made me stop and take notice, the part that I liked the most was the contrasting vocals. My poor narrator has lost all his ladies!
Great feel and great performances. Nice acoustic guitar work throughout. 5 stars!
