there are times in our lives where nothing goes right. we may feel like we are there but there is always hope.
I love the lead singers voice and the drums and the rhythm guitar and saxophone. the songwriter must have been thinking about going to Texas or maybe just a very good come back line. Vocals sounds a little like Tanya Tucker.
I like the brevity of the intro. It's a great song. Very catchy. Great musicianship, compelling vocal. Strong tongue in cheek lyric. Nicely mixed...all the instrumentation is at just the right level.
Here's a sassy tune with a memorable hook that uses a familiar phrase and turns it into a country song...very clever. Nice instrumentation suits the song well with sax and lead guitar parts shining in the instrumental section. Great intro. Favorite rhyme: mini/skinny. Very original lyric writing and tight band. Nicely done!
love the sax, its really a fun song. instrumentally spot on
Brilliant rocakbilly fun with this very well performed, written, arranged and recorded tune.
pretty good vocal on this, the backing track is ok too although a bit bland. Hoping to hear some Scotty Moore guitar licks tho'
This was quite well done. The quality of the recording was one of the best I've heard on the site. I thought the counter themes created by the instruments added nicely to the main theme. The transitions between parts worked well and the backing vocals added nice element as well.
Excellent vocals, loved the sax and the guitar work. Musically tight.
Enjoyed this stylish piece. Long live Rockabilly!
nice arrangements and playings
Love this!! So unique but commercial and sassy all at the same time. Love it, love it... Wish I'd thought of it!! :)
Cute song. Quite catchy.
I really like these lyrics. With fashion popularity at it's height, in the right hands this tune could be extremely lucrative. It's a really fun one. Great work! Love those horns
