Story Behind The Song
I was at a ski resort in Stowe VT, in the lodge, and I witness a husband wife and four children come in to the lodge. The wife got busy taking off the boots and snow suits of the children, and the husband started flirting with the gals at the counter. I wrote these lyrics on the napkin in front of me as it unfolded.

Lyrics
Talking with Tina, flirting with Flo
You'd better buckle down or I'm gonna go
Buckle down baby, buckle down
Come on back, I don't like your doggin' around
Leanin' on Lana, Swoonin' on Sue
I think I'm just about fed up with you
Buckle down baby, buckle down
My bags are half-packed I'm just about ready to go
Don't you think they see your ring,
Even if to you it don't mean a thing
These girls know you're a player and a cheat
Buckle down baby or you'll be out in the street
The way you're howling all over the place
One of these days you'll get a drink in your face
You better buckle down baby, buckle down
Come on over let me tighten your ball and chain
