this is only a demo and have yet to release it. Currently being produced by Peter Stevenson of Turnaround Music but delays in the recording has nudged me in getting it out there in the hope it can bring more immediate opportunities for utililisation.
Song Description
About how we as teenagers at school we were keen and wanting to take on and change the world and how life tried to pull us apart and the brotherhood we originally felt particularly as Christians was going to test our resolve and what happened to that sense of connection over time. Being in Australia it refers to the Anzac spirit as well.

Lyrics
Welcome to the Brotherhood
Rememeber the days we were all so young
Brash and all grown up - so full of funk
True of eye - and willing to serve
The modern day Anzacs we had a nerve, we had a nerve
Welcome to the brotherhood (x2)
The years wore on our resolve was tested
The devil divided our lives got parted
Bullets came flying and all we held dear
Began to crumble and disappear, disappear
Welcome to the brotherhood (x2)
We fought the good fight side by side
In my arms I watched you die
The battle forged a bond greater than death
Would be heros - stealing their last breath
Welcome to the brotherhood (x2)
Read about David, mighty men who excelled
Faces like lions and swift as gazelles
Jono his brother, more loyal than a lover
Part of band, the band of brothers
Welcome to the brotherhood (x2)
We fought the good fight side by side
In my arms I watched you die
The battle forged a bond greater than death
Would be heros - stealing their last breath
Welcome to the brotherhood (x2)
Must we need a war to make us bond
Dragged through the mud, the fire and flood
Breakthrough the daylight, face the con
Give to the one who gave his blood
Welcome to the brotherhood (x2)
We fought the good fight side by side
In my arms I watched you die
The battle forged a bond greater than death
Would be heros - stealing their last breath
Welcome to the brotherhood (x4)
How we have grown old and further apart
Like some piece of driftwood an old forgotten fart
