Story Behind The Song
When I studied at the conservatory in Holland, I met a really nice Danish girl who was in Holland for just 4 days. We started talking and she told me she was in Holland to find out if this was the country she would like to study classical vocals for one year. I suggested I'd show her around Amsterdam, where I live and we had a wonderfull evening and a warm night. The morning after I escorted her back to her hotel where we hugged and said goodbye and then left it at that.
It's not something that happens to me often. It was a really special evening for me and I just had to write a song about it.
