Lyrics
When I was little I had a big dream
To see my face on the movie screen
As I grew I found new possibilities
So I gathered them up
And I carry them with me
I hold an armful of flowers
As I walk through this meadow
With my armful of flowers
I can let one go
My first love, he gave me a rose
I put it in a vase
Where it kept its pose
Then he said he's leaving me
He knocked it on the floor
And I knew I wouldn't see him anymore
I hold an armful of flowers
As I walk through this meadow
With my armful of flowers
I can let one go
I know if I have to
I can let one go.
This iris is my mother
Tulip my father
And each shining daisy
Is a smiling friend
Sweet pea my daughter
Geranium, my son
And this one, this one
This lily is my husband
I'll carry them so gently
So I'll never crush them
I hold an armful of flowers
As I walk through this meadow
With my armful of flowers
I can let one go
Oh, I know if I have to
I can let one go.
I will always walk with my arms
Full of flowers
