Story Behind The Song
This song was written partly because I wanted to see if you could write a whole song based around one repeating line (piano), but also at a point where I was feeling very disconnected from the people around me and then realising how when I was with a particular person, I didn't feel that way, so this song is about that disconnection and subsequent reconnection.
Song Description
Song is about being isolated from your surroundings, not feeling connected to anything, and how when you meet the right person, you can reconnect.

Lyrics
Pictures moving,
I'm drifting through.
Never touching,
Never being touched.
I'm so low,
Don't know how to climb up.
Crowds of people,
Can't see their faces.
And I'm watching the world,
I can't touch you at all.
And I miss you all,
Through my glass walls.
And I've lost the sublime,
I forgot how to feel.
And I just wanna be touched,
Through my glass walls.
Now I'm losing time,
Is this real?
How can you be alive but not feel?
I'm moving through,
They're all ghosts.
I've fallen down,
Can't seem to get up.
I see the sky,
As I drift away.
Then suddenly you were there.
And I'm watching the world,
I can't touch you at all.
And I miss you all,
Through my glass walls.
And I've lost the sublime,
I forgot how to feel.
And I just wanna be touched,
Through my glass walls.
Now I'm losing time,
Is this real?
How can you be alive but not feel?
Holding your hand,
I'm warming up.
My life like needles,
Pricks me awake.
Please don't let go,
I need you so much.
I won't drift away if you stay.
And we're watching the world,
And I'm holding you,
Don't miss much at all,
There's no glass walls.
And I found the sublime,
I know how to feel.
The warmth of your touch,
Shattered the walls,
Shattered the walls,
Shattered the walls.
