Story Behind The Song
From Steve One and the Shades' debut album c. 1987-1988.
I just found an old, OLD, very used cassette of our album and recorded it to CD and then to MP3's. Very poor quality recordings due to the detereration of the cassette. I am trying to locate the masters, or at least cleaner copies.
Song Description
The producer told me I couldn't use the word "shoulda" in a song! That's all I had to hear...I built the whole song around that one word! (...even though its not technically a real word!)
