Story Behind The Song
The "gap " in the last verse refers to Deepak Chopra's "gap of all possibilities". In this song, love is more than just the emotion...its also a power.
This is another song in which I featured this ancient mandolin given to me by my 85 yr old next door neighbor. (It was her Dad's mandolin!)
Plus, as I was adding "touches" to the mix, the little trumpet thing just sorta popped into my head, which lent an overall "Beatle" vibe, which lead to the outro, which I had tagged on to the very end of the song, way after the fade out. It was just something I did for myself. But I had so much fun doing it, and I like it so much, that I didn't fade it out, just let it play. Thats why the song is so long.
Song Description
The things we do, the games we play, the sacrifices we make and, if we're lucky, the realizations we get...all for and from love.

So Much For Love
Lyrics and music c. Steve Waddington
So Much...So Much For Love
Spend my time watching you
I know you've been watching too
And this means so much more to me I wonder why we bleed
So Much For Love
I know what you told your friends
So let the games begin
And everybody plays the same, its just to entertain
So Much For Love
So Much...So Much For Love
It keeps you guessing, if its a blessing, or if you're messing
with something that can take you down...
So Much...So Much For Love
I would just melt with you
If you said you would too
Come into the gap with me and then we'll finally see
So Much For Love
And, yes, it is quite alright
If we stay here tonight
Everything you feel is true and that is why we do
So Much For Love
So Much...So Much For Love
It keeps you guessing, if its a blessing, or if you're messing
with something that can take you down...
So Much...So Much For Love
(got love, got love, everybody's got love)
