Story Behind The Song
I wrote this when I was estranged from my first wife and I was doing a lot of self evaluation and realized that I really had not treated her very well. So I tried to put myself in her place and write a song to me...And VOILA!
Song Description
This is intended to be kind of tongue in cheek It's about a guy (or girl) who is being mistreated and used in a relationship but doesn't have the backbone to move on or put a stop to the mates bad behavior. Strangely enough this song is kind of a self portrait with me being the mistreater not the victim...

Lyrics
Like two ships in the night,
We should've vanished out of sight
But you and I are on a collision course
I should leave you alone and set out on my own
But some how I keep coming back for more
You told me long ago that my motor was too slow
And you couldn't stand and let life pass you by
But I seem to be good enough
When you need a little love
I guess I'm good for work
But not good enough for show
Well...
CHORUS:
Someday you'll turn around and I'll be no where to be found
Someday when I get the nerve to go
Someday I'll get tough and then you'll have it rough
You don't care but I wanted you to know
Girl you treat me bad and you know you always have
I think you get your kicks from being mean
But someday I'll push through and I'll lock the door on you
And then you won't be able to pick on me
REPEAT CHORUS:
