Song Description
A somewhat modified but still pleasing version of Chopin's Etude Tristesse, the opening theme only which I have always loved but never had a chance to study. I think the second half of the etude would have been not as pleasing to learn as it is as dissonant and aggressive as the opening is soft and beautiful. Such is life.
This is my impression of the theme of the piece, as a tribute to the style and warmth of one of my favourite composers perhaps as would have been played by my granny back in the day. She played by ear as do I:).
