Story Behind The Song
It's a true experience in Second Life. You gain so many friends from all over the world and, suddenly they leave.
She was actually a friend of my neighbor at first. When he packed-up and left, she stopped by my place, wondering if I'd heard from him.
Song Description
It's just a short song about a long time Second Life friend. We'd seen a lot go by over our time there. And, suddenly, I noticed she was gone, too.

Lyrics
V1: I remember when she came down my walkway
Looking for a friend we had known
He had picked up and left, no forwarding address
Left her sad and alone.
C1: Where are you going to Esther?
Where have have you traveled and wandered today?
Where are you going to Esther?
And, tell me, are you doing OK?
V2: A friend is a friend from beginning to end,
But, they don't always see eye-to-eye.
And, sometime the pain - ain't worth the gain,
And sometimes you just need to cry.
C2: What are you sad about Esther?
What sort of pain are you feeling tonight?
What are you sad about Esther?
And, tell me, are you doing alright?
(Instrumental - variation of chorus)
V3: So, without a goodbye or a good reason why
She packed up her things and she left.
And I have to say, I'm missing her today.
'Cause it's one less friend I have left.
C3: What are you thinking 'bout Esther?
What sort of life are you living this day?
What are you thinking 'bout Esther?
And tell me are you really OK?
Oh, I hope things are better today.
