Story Behind The Song

Forest Fantasia was originally conceived as an interlude track, conceptually similar to a body of work I wrote years earlier. In the end it landed as the first track on my Introspection EP and its short and lively nature acts as a quick introduction to the narrative I weave through the whole record. Following many woodland walks during the pandemic I was inspired by a sense of solitude and intrigue mixed with the ambient noise of nature. Forest Fantasia takes the listener through a gateway into another realm of possibilities.
