Story Behind The Song
Free Falling started from the synth riff heard in the intro, as an initial idea. I built it up using dirty, raspy sounds to give it a darker theme, which ended up becoming a blend of various brassy instruments. To me it conjures the idea of cartoon or caricature underworld themes with mischief and regret.
