Story Behind The Song
This is one of a handful of jingles that I wrote and produced for Market Image Inc. in 2002. During 2001 I was working as a full time musician and producer. We were trying to book a tour and it was not going well. Then, with 9/11 things went totally flat. I was hired to produce a project that was to begin in 30 days but when the 30 days arrived, the artist backed out and never followed through with any recording. I was several months behind on house payments and my family wondering if we were going to be on the street soon so I ended up taking a job at a car lot to pay the bills. One day a friend of mine showed up at the lot and said he had commercial work for me. I immediately quit my day job and went back to the studio. Christmas 2001 became busy with gigs and recording work and 2002 turned out to be a good touring year as well. I was able to return to being a full-time musician and producer and haven't looked back since. This is one of the jingles that came out of my brief stint with the company -- it's my favorite.
Song Description
There is a technical school up in Pennsylvania that is a community college and it's completely free to the public. So the idea came to invest your mind instead of your money. I wanted to outline a sense of hope and positive vibes for the listener's future. And what's there not to like about a free technical college! They absolutely loved the jingle.

Lyrics
Bidwell Training Center, invest your mind not your money, your mind not your money. Like a bridge to your future, a door to your dreams, the sun shining brightly through the window of opportunity. Bidwell TrainingCenter, invest your mind, not your money at Bidwell Training Center.
