like the drums at the beginning, then the singing comes in to boost up the performance

The songwriter asks a lot of questions and the only answer he can come up with is...."God Only Knows." Sometimes the best answer for that which we cannot figure out. The song has a pleasant, positive, upbeat feel to it which engages the listener from the very start. Fun intro. Love these lyrics: How do you move a mind of stone? Where has the human kindness gone? There are some really original, fresh lyrics in this song. Nice instrumentation and vocals are pretty clear. Love the percussion/tambourine. Like the slave/church verse. Nicely produced.

I like the stripped back production which contrasts superbly with the complexity of the vocal arrangement. Great lead vocal. The backing vocals add a clever theatrical twist. Strong lyrics. There is a soulful quality to the song which puts me in mind of Amy Winehouse.

I like the sound of the drums and the rhythm guitar, the lead vocals are wonderful, sounds a little like Blondie.

The hooks are perfect. Great performance. And great sound. This song has a hit potential. Great singing, the tuning is well done. Also, the form of the song is really well conceived. The backing vocals are very important in the song and deserve a bit more care in the sound. I wish there was a little surprise somewhere.

Wowza.....infectious Beat, really memorable!! Slightly reminds me of Amy Winhouse.......super cool! Great articulation by the vocalist!! She sounds like the Real Deal..........terrific job!!
