Story Behind The Song
Always thought "Annie Had A Baby" was a very interesting song idea that need a second song to resolve the issue.
Song Description
There is a classic rock song titled "Annie Had A Baby." The song is about what sometimes happens to the relationship between the man and woman when a child is born, the man perceiving that the woman is paying all/most of her attention to the child and none/little to him. This song is about the mutual recognition of that idea and a pledge by both that no priorities in the relationship will undergo a sea change after the birth of a child.

Lyrics
VERSE (male to female)
Angel eyes, sleepin,' dreamin' of starry skies
I'll lay here and write a lullaby and watch you while you sleep
The day is soon to come when we'll be singin' to our own little one
And though our new life will have just begun, remember this from me
FIRST CHORUS (male to female)
There'll always be time to watch the clouds roll by
There'll always be time for chasin' butterflies
Here in the time I've been given to pass through
I'll always have time for you
VERSE (duet)
Sleepy eyes, go to sleep and dream of starry skies
We'll lay here, sing you lullabies, and marvel while you sleep
I know the day will come when you'll be singin' to your own little one
And though your tiny life has just begun, remember this from us
SECOND CHORUS (duet)
There'll always be time to watch the clouds roll by
There'll always be time for chasin' butterflies
Here in the time we've been given to pass through
We'll always have time for you
VERSE (female to male)
Angel eyes, sleepin,' dreamin' of starry skies
I'll lay here and write a lullaby and watch you while you sleep
Since the day has come that you and I now have our own little one
If you're worried now what may come, remember this from me
Repeat SECOND CHORUS (except last line) (female to male)
There'll always be time to watch the clouds roll by
There'll always be time for chasin' butterflies
Here in the time we've been given to pass through
TAG (duet)
I'll always have time; yes, I'll always have time for you
