Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song with the thought of the loneliness that someone feels after a breakup. The thoughts of memories of the relationship as they walk down a city street, like in New York's Manhattan in the wintertime. There's the thought of being so lonely and upset back at the apartment that they shared. The relationship is through and the other person isn't there anymore. Isolation, the thought of trying get back to who you were before the relationship and moving on are all feelings that I had when writing this song.
Song Description
The Bridge of the song could really be looks upon as a second chorus. It's the build up or lift of the song and the song decrescendos after the chorus follows. The song has beautiful cello arrangements and beautiful chord changes. There's no solo sections. It is a complete song.

Lyrics
When the snow fills the air and life slows down
Memories fill my mind, with the cold winds blowing
I've been on the city streets talking of fame
Like a fable that you read you know when it's ending
Cause life brings you back
Life brings you back
Life brings you back to heart
Back to Heart
Sitting in my single room pacing the floor
Boxes in disarray but there's no one looking
Except the shadows that I see they all have your name
And every curse that I say is whispered with no one listening.
Cause life brings you back
Life brings you back
Life brings you back to heart
Back to Heart
I see my angel, waiting for me and
I see my way here before me, here before me
Cause life brings you back
Life brings you back, oh
Life brings you back to heart
Back to Heart
