Shawn Stackz, born in London and raised in Oklahoma, Saudi Arabia, England and Louisiana, has been appropriately dubbed "Mr. International" for his massive worldwide appeal. With the release of his latest single, "2day," Stackz continues to take the world by storm, one smash hit after another.
Stackz began honing his craft and preparing for the stage at the age of 5 years old after receiving his first Michael Jackson cassette tape. Stackz would spend day and night practicing the Moon Walk, singing and dancing until he passed out. Growing up all over the world, Stackz has had the opportunity to incorporate the unique sights and sounds he grew up with into the hip-hop, pop, r&b infused music his fans have come to know and love. It is no surprise, then, that Stackz's music appeals to a wide fan-base, regardless of age, color, or musical preference. With the help of producer Mickael Zibi, Stackz is emerging as a major pop dance musician on the rise, topping the charts and rocking the club scene.
Stackz's latest single "2day", a pop-rock dance track fused with dub step, features LA's own Tilly Key on vocals. Stackz describes the message of "2day" as a "good feeling, self-esteem jolt of positivity and love of oneself and life." The release of "2 Day" follows the release of "Boom," which featured Latin pop star Baby Bash. Stackz's career has been full of dynamic collaborations, including features from Slim Thug & Gorilla Zoe. Stackz has head-lined shows in Houston, Las Vegas, El Paso, Chicago, Oakland, Washington DC, Dallas, New York, Oklahoma, and many more. Despite all this success, however, Stackz's biggest career highlight so far is a rather simple love of the stage: "Every time I step out on stage and grip the mic and hear the crowd say my name--that's what matters most."
Stackz, who now resides in Houston, Texas, is proud to be one of the first fully independent artists to emerge with hits on the Rhythmic and Pop charts. In addition to his success in music, Stackz is a businessman. Some of his current business ventures include the development of a new reality show entitled, "Stackz World," and an energy drink, "Wind Up," named after Stackz's third single.
