All I Ever Need

Shawn Dykes blasts fans with yet another musical surprise . The founder of the gospel group Spirit of Praise has teamed with the talented R&B recording artist Joy Almond to write arrange and produce a tasty single entitled "All I Ever Need" The tune displays all the makings of a timeless classic hit. The delivery of the song displays crooning by Dykes that resemble the iconic Isley Brothers singing Summer Breeze. Dykes nails a super smooth delivery and sets the stage for the well placed vocal nuances of the amazing Joy Almond. The song tells a very real and heartfelt story of a couple about to embark onto the next level of love and relationship. When asked what was the inspiration behind the new song, Dykes said "The feeling of the song takes me to a place in time when music was a part of our lives, our relationships and our very being. Something very real, Innocent and pure that i wanted to share with the world". The tune is a no holds barred masterpiece hailing some of the best musicians in the industry. Doug Richardson on lead guitar, Alphonza Kee {sibling to the celebrated gospel artist and pastor John P. Kee} on bass guitar, and saxophonist Charles McMurray provide a groove that has been missing in today's music for quite awhile. "All I Ever Need" is truly a musical masterpiece. Dykes is not a newcomer to the music industry, releasing a debut gospel album in 2009. The album spawned the gospel single "Purpose" that recieved subsantial radio airplay. The single opened doors that led to a concert opening for the legendary rap artist\turned minister Kurtis Blow in Statesville N.C. In September 2011 the gospel ensemble "Spirit of Praise" led by Dykes made a television appearance on the "Bobby Jones Presents" new artist showcase.
