Sharla, thank you for the favorable review of our tune LET THE BLUES BEGIN. Interesting observation about power and emotion considering those are Leslie's strengths as a vocalist. She can growl like Janis and soar like Streisand. She made a choice in the delivery not to get too emotional, but let the lyrics convey the deep depression inherent in this song. I guess interp is up to each individual artists as far as how far to push. Damn thing's a real downer, but that is what I was going for. Bobby Sahlen
